Peaceful Master and Thim Palace

In 2022, the Dinh Thay Thim Cultural and Tourism Festival was included in the list of national intangible heritage by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, making the local people extremely proud. Everyone was happy and excited about the spacious and clean appearance of the palace after many upgrades, renovations and restorations.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga - Tan An ward, La Gi town excitedly shared: "As a local, I am extremely proud that La Gi town has a religious tourist attraction with such wonderful beautiful scenery. Coming to the palace, I feel extremely peaceful and comfortable."

Coming to Dinh Thay Thim, visitors can not only immerse themselves in the fresh air, admire the green natural scenery of the mountains and forests, learn about the architecture of the palace, the legend of the two "Chi Duc Tien Sinh, Chi Duc Nuong Nuong Ton Than" but also entrust their wishes and beliefs... of themselves and their families to the sacred place.

Mr. Phan Cong Nho - a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City expressed: "When it comes to spirituality, everyone is different, however, my family and I strongly believe in the sacredness of Thay and Thim. Therefore, we often go to the palace to pray for health, peace, and good things for the family."

After their secret wishes were fulfilled, many visitors from all over the world returned to the palace to thank Thay and Thim, wishing to contribute their efforts to the restoration and embellishment of the relic to make it more beautiful.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - Head of the Management Board of the Historical - Cultural Relic of Dinh Thay Thim said: "Every year, Dinh Thay Thim not only welcomes a lot of tourists during the festival, but also during the spring festival, there are quite a lot of tourists coming to pay their respects to Thay Thim, so the Management Board has also prepared in many ways to welcome tourists in the most thoughtful way".

After each visit, offering incense, and commemorating the merits of Thay and Thim at the palace, visitors continue their journey to the area of Thay and Thim's grave in Bau Thong forest.

Every year, in addition to the traditional festival of culture and tourism of Dinh Thay Thim taking place on the full moon day of the 9th lunar month, the tomb-sweeping ceremony of Thay Thim takes place on the 5th day of the 1st lunar month, attracting a large number of locals and tourists.

This year, right from the first days of the new year of Giap Thin 2024, at the area of Thay Thim's grave, the Management Board of Thay Thim's Historical Relics and Palace also organized the traditional rituals of the Thay Thim's grave-sweeping ceremony. Many local people and tourists from all over came to participate in the rituals and visit the grave. Lighting incense sticks on Thay Thim's grave not only shows respect and trust in the sacredness of Thay Thim, praying for luck, peace, favorable business, good things... but also affirms the good cultural tradition symbolizing the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source" of the Vietnamese people, contributing to educating personality and moral qualities for all generations, helping people increasingly move towards truth - goodness - beauty, while preserving and promoting the cultural identity and fine customs that have existed for thousands of years of the nation.
