The new rural development program has contributed to changing the face of rural areas. The material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved. This achievement is the result of the joint efforts and consensus of the Party Committee, government and people in the province. Welcoming the New Year of the Dragon, Ninh Binh Newspaper reporters recorded some opinions of cadres, party members and people about the program.
Diversifying resource mobilization to build new rural areas
Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction (NTM), the People's Committee of Ninh Binh city has closely followed the guiding documents of the Central Government and the province to focus on directing and implementing.
Up to now, Ninh Phuc and Ninh Tien communes have been recognized as meeting advanced NTM standards. There are 11 villages recognized as meeting model NTM standards. Infrastructure has been invested and developed to meet production and people's needs. The rural economy has shifted towards increasing the proportion of industry, trade, and services, increasing income for rural workers, and the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved. The security and order situation in the communes continues to be maintained. People are excited and confident in the leadership of the Party and the management and operation of the local government.
These results are the result of the joint efforts and consensus of local Party committees, authorities and people in implementing the construction of new rural areas.
In the coming time, the city will continue to pay attention to and direct the task of building new rural areas, including diversifying the mobilization of resources to build new rural areas according to the motto "Mobilizing resources from the community is decisive, the participation of businesses and society is important, and support from the budget is necessary".
The use of resources for public works must be discussed democratically and agreed upon by the people, with community supervision, ensuring publicity and transparency. Thereby, implementing well the democratic regulations at the grassroots level according to the motto "people know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people enjoy".
Focus on promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc in building the new rural areas. Timely encourage and reward units and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the program to encourage and promote the movement to be increasingly widespread.
New rural areas help Muong villages change
Dong Trung village, Quang Lac commune has about 140 households, all of whom are Muong ethnic people. Since the State and the people joined hands to build the new rural area, we have been witnessing rapid changes in our homeland. The concrete roads within the village and sub-areas in the area have been paved with concrete and have lighting installed; on both sides of the road are rows of colorful flowers planted and cared for by the villagers. Now, rain or shine, all roads are always easy to travel, clean and beautiful...
Along with that, the villagers have also gradually changed their economic practices, boldly expanded production, built livestock barns to help increase income. Harvesters, plows, etc. have been applied to production, both saving human labor and increasing productivity. The people's lives have been increasingly improved.
In particular, when building the new rural areas, the State has paid attention to preserving and conserving the traditional cultural values of the Muong people such as: stilt houses, gong sets, thanks to which the cultural activities of the people are increasingly vibrant and convenient. The people are excited and always ready to contribute their efforts to the development of the countryside. At the same time, they strive to preserve, conserve and promote the cultural values of the Muong people.
Contribute to bringing a new look to the countryside
After being recognized as a commune meeting the NTM standards in 2015, Truong Yen was selected by the district and province to build a model NTM. Determining this as an important political task, Truong Yen commune proactively reviewed the criteria, developed projects, plans, programs, and implementation plans. In particular, focusing on propaganda to quickly, fully, and promptly spread the Party and State's policies and guidelines on NTM construction to cadres, party members, and the people.
In addition, the commune has diversified its mobilization of all resources to invest in and upgrade rural infrastructure in a synchronous and modern direction to serve production and people's lives. Thanks to that, by 2022, Truong Yen was recognized as a model new-style rural commune. People's lives are improving day by day. Healthcare and education are invested synchronously in a standardized direction. Village roads and alleys are spacious and clean...
The results achieved in the process of building new rural areas have helped the once difficult mountainous countryside to change a lot.
Actively contribute youth to participate in building new countryside
Participating in the New Rural Development Program, I mobilized my family to voluntarily donate land to contribute to expanding the road through Tay Ha village, Yen Nhan commune. At the same time, I promoted and mobilized other households to join in donating land to expand the road with the motto "The State and the People work together". Thereby contributing to ensuring the progress of the road construction.
We are very happy to contribute our youth to the locality to complete the criteria for the commune to meet the advanced NTM standards in 2023 as planned. Not only in Tay Ha village, now in Yen Nhan commune, many concrete roads connecting hamlets have contributed to creating a spacious and modern NTM appearance, making travel more convenient as well as creating opportunities to develop trade between regions.
