Shrimp exports by November 2023 are estimated to reach 3.15 billion USD.
According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), shrimp exports in November reached over 310 million USD, up 3.5% over the same period last year.
VASEP forecasts that shrimp exports in 2023 are expected to reach about 3.4 billion USD, 21% lower than in 2022.

Coffee exports could reach $5 billion by 2024
Right at the beginning of the 2023/2024 crop year, the price of Vietnamese green coffee beans was already very high, around 60,000 VND/kg. It is forecasted that coffee prices in Vietnam will continue to increase, possibly reaching 4.5 to 5 billion USD.

From now until the middle of next year, if major economies in the world continue to reduce interest rates, coffee exports will continue to benefit because this is the time when roasters around the world buy and store, so coffee prices are unlikely to fall. Including the 2023-2024 crop year, coffee exports could reach 4.5 to 5 billion USD thanks to rising prices while production decreases.
According to statistics from the General Department of Customs, in November 2023, Vietnam's coffee exports reached 80,000 tons, earning 252 million USD, down 37.9% in volume and 17.5% in value compared to November 2022.
The previous October, Vietnam’s coffee exports hit a record low of 43,720 tons, worth about $157.6 million. Compared to the same period last year, coffee exports fell sharply by 48.8% in volume and 28% in value.

According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), by the end of October 2023, Vietnam's canned tuna had been exported to more than 64 markets worldwide. Of which, the US, EU, Israel, Canada, Chile and Egypt were the six largest import markets, accounting for more than 81% of the total export turnover of this product group.
From the beginning of the year, canned tuna exports to the US and Canada have been continuously decreasing. However, in the second half of the year, exports to the US have shown signs of recovery, while the Canadian market has increased again in the last quarter of the year. In the first 10 months of 2023, canned tuna exports to the US still decreased by 5%, reaching nearly 75 million USD, while Canada decreased by 4%, reaching more than 10 million USD.

According to estimates from the General Department of Customs, exports of fine art ceramic products in November 2023 reached the highest level in the past year, reaching 18.0 million USD, up 30.9% compared to October 2023, but down 3.0% compared to November 2022.

In October 2023, exports of fine art ceramic products to the EU market reached 5.04 million USD, up 53.8% compared to September 2023, down 21.0% compared to October 2022.
In the first 10 months of 2023, the export of fine art ceramics to the EU accounted for 34.7% of the total export turnover of this item of the country, reaching 39.46 million USD, down 39.3% over the same period in 2022. Among the markets in the EU, the market share of Vietnamese fine art ceramics in Denmark is the largest.
According to statistics, the export of fine art ceramics to the US market in October 2023 reached 5.81 million USD, an increase of 47.1% compared to September 2023, a decrease of 8.5% compared to the same period in 2022. In the first 10 months of 2023, the export of fine art ceramics to the US accounted for 32.9% of the total export turnover of this item of the whole country, reaching 37.40 million USD, a decrease of 48.3% compared to the same period in 2022.
Fruit and vegetable exports expected to hit record $5.6 billion in 2023
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, fruit and vegetable exports are expected to reach 5.5 - 5.6 billion USD in 2023. This is a record high for this industry to date.

In November 2023, fruit and vegetable exports reached about 375.478 million USD, down 38.4% compared to the previous month (October 2023 reached 608.790 million USD) and up 22.5% compared to the same period in 2022. Thus, in 11 months of 2023, fruit and vegetable exports reached 5.2 billion USD, up 70% compared to the same period in 11 months of 2022.
On the other hand, in November 2023, Vietnam imported 153.696 million USD of fruits and vegetables, down 5.6% compared to October and down 0.7% compared to the same period. After 11 months, Vietnam imported 1.77 billion USD, down 5.8% compared to the same period. Thus, the trade surplus of fruits and vegetables in 11 months of 2023 reached over 3.4 billion USD.

According to the General Department of Customs, it is estimated that Vietnam's cashew nut exports in November 2023 reached 65 thousand tons, worth 358 million USD, up 1.1% in volume and 0.03% in value compared to October 2023, and up 34.5% in volume and 30.7% in value compared to November 2022.

It is estimated that the average export price of Vietnam's cashew nuts in November 2023 will reach 5,512 USD/ton, down 12.6% compared to October 2023 and down 2.8% compared to November 2022.
