In the current period of deep international economic integration, export has become a major source of budget revenue - a driving force for the development of localities in the country in general and Vinh Phuc in particular. Not only is it a factor contributing to economic growth, export also brings opportunities for sustainable development.

With its location in the key economic region of the North, adjacent to Hanoi and easily connected to other provinces and cities as well as international seaports and airports, this is a significant advantage, helping the province easily transport goods to major domestic and foreign markets.
In addition, the province also owns many strongly developed industrial parks (IPs), typically Binh Xuyen, Khai Quang, Ba Thien IPs... which are home to many enterprises producing key export products such as electronic components, auto and motorbike spare parts and textiles.
The presence of multinational corporations such as Toyota, Honda and Piaggio... has turned the province into a modern industrial and manufacturing center, significantly increasing export turnover.
The development of export activities has brought many diverse benefits, from economic to social and environmental. Exports are an important source of foreign currency, helping to increase financial resources for investment in infrastructure and other essential areas. Thanks to that, the province can focus on developing key economic sectors, improving the quality of life of the people.
In addition, exports also create many job opportunities for local workers. Exports also promote the connection between Vinh Phuc and international markets, which helps local businesses to constantly improve technology, learn from foreign partners and enhance competitiveness. These advances not only bring economic benefits but also contribute to changing the industrial landscape and economic structure of the province.
Important contributions to the province's export turnover include enterprises operating in the fields of manufacturing electronics and electronic components; textiles, tiles, etc.
For example, A My Industrial Joint Stock Company, Thai Hoa Industrial Park (Lap Thach). The company's products have been exported to 25 countries and are present in 63 provinces and cities nationwide. In 2025, A My Industrial Joint Stock Company aims to grow by 13%, of which exports will grow by 14% compared to 2024.
To achieve the set goals, the company continues to improve product quality, pioneer innovation, invest in technology, improve human resource capacity, improve service quality and expand consumer markets.
In 2025, the province aims to achieve a total export turnover of about 19 billion USD, a higher growth rate than in 2024. Key export items include complete motorbikes, motorbike spare parts, telephones, telephone components, computers, electronics and textiles. These products are exported to more than 40 countries and territories around the world.
In the first two months of 2025, the province's export turnover reached 1.82 billion USD, an increase over the same period last year. To achieve this goal, the province has implemented many solutions such as trade promotion, administrative procedure reform and taking advantage of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that Vietnam participates in.
Despite positive results, the province’s export activities still face many difficulties and challenges. The biggest challenge is the dependence on a few key markets, making the province vulnerable to economic fluctuations and trade policies of partner countries.
In addition, exporting enterprises must meet increasingly stringent requirements from international markets, including standards on product quality, environmental protection and social responsibility. Failure to meet these standards can result in rejection of goods, significantly reducing export turnover.
To maximize export potential in the coming time, the province has been building a sustainable development strategy, focusing on diversifying products and markets.
This includes investing in research and development, encouraging the adoption of modern technology and improving product quality. In particular, green and sustainable production is prioritized to meet the requirements of developed markets.
Promote the construction of transport and logistics infrastructure, reduce administrative procedures and provide timely information on international markets to businesses. At the same time, focus on building brands for typical products of the province, helping to increase the value and enhance the position of products in the world market.
In the context of increasingly deep international economic integration, the province actively participates in global value chains, taking advantage of FTAs to expand export markets.
Regularly cooperate with international organizations and major trade partners to access advanced technology, improve labor skills and improve productivity and product quality, ensure export standards, gradually affirm the position in export activities, and create sustainable growth momentum.
