To ensure traffic safety, authorities have coordinated with the railway industry to remove the self-opened path through Tan Hiep ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai.
On March 15, the People's Committee of Tan Hiep Ward (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai) coordinated with Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company and the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province to close and remove the self-made walkway across the railway in the locality.
Authorities have begun barricading the self-opening walkway to ensure safety.
Accordingly, the authorities have blocked off the self-opened path at Km1692 + 600 (alley 104 in group 7, quarter 3, crossing group 9, quarter 1, Tan Hiep ward).
This is a self-opened path through Tan Hiep ward that the local government has allowed people to guard themselves with barriers for many years. In addition to the above location, there is another self-opened path through this ward 300m away, at Km1692 + 300. Due to the narrow self-opened path and the high density of motorbikes, it increases the risk of insecurity when a train passes by.
Therefore, on March 6, the People's Committee of Tan Hiep Ward informed the people about removing this path. At the same time, according to the People's Committee of Tan Hiep Ward, the path 300m away is being proposed by the local government to the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City to be expanded and reinforced, so that people can travel more safely.
Narrow aisles pose a risk to traffic safety.
According to railway statistics, by early 2025, Bien Hoa city will have 12 legal railway crossings and 7 self-opened crossings (all with guard posts and guards arranged by local authorities).
