According to analysts, the US Federal Reserve (FED) announced that it would keep interest rates at a target range of 4.25% to 4.5% per year. However, the organization's policymakers said there would be two interest rate cuts in 2025. The FED's economic outlook also showed that inflation in the US would be higher and economic growth would be lower. These factors have investors worried that the US economy could decline, making gold the investment channel of choice.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 95 million VND/tael.
