At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the buying price of SJC gold is 98 million VND/tael and the selling price is 99.5 million VND/tael. Thus, compared to the previous session, the gold price remained the same for buying and decreased by 200,000 VND/tael for selling.

Regarding gold rings, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) listed the price of SJC gold rings type 1-5 at only 98.2 - 99.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 1.2 million VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the same morning.
The price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold ring at DOJI is currently listed at 98.8 - 100.3 million VND/tael, an increase of 1.8 million VND/tael in buying price and an increase of 1.2 million VND/tael in selling price compared to the beginning of the trading session on the same day.

World gold price today March 20, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4am today, Vietnam time, was 3,034.44 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 0.05% compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,836 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 94.5 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 5 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices were little changed after hitting a fresh record high earlier in the day as safe-haven demand continued to rise as investors awaited the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision, due later in the day.
Spot gold fell 0.1% to $3,030.13 an ounce, as of 9:35 a.m. ET (13:35 GMT).
Bullion jumped to an all-time high of $3,045.24 in the previous session, marking its 15th record high this year. U.S. gold futures also fell 0.1% to $3,038.00.
“There is concern that tariffs could increase inflation,” said Bart Melek, head of commodity strategy at TD Securities. “Despite the price increases from US tariffs, many believe the Fed could start easing policy around mid-year.”
US President Donald Trump increased tariffs on steel and aluminum imports to 25%, effective last week, and announced new reciprocal and sectoral tariffs would be imposed from April 2.
Gold, seen as a safe investment during times of inflation or economic turmoil, has gained more than 15% so far this year.
On the geopolitical front, Russia and Ukraine accused each other of violating a new agreement not to attack energy targets, just hours after a phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I expect gold prices to fluctuate around current levels, with a possible $25 difference,” Mr. Melek added.
Investors are now focused on the US central bank's policy decision later in the day, along with comments from Fed Chairman Jerome Powell. Traders expect the Fed to keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged this month, with rate cuts likely to begin again in June.
Gold becomes more attractive when interest rates are low, because it is a non-interest-bearing asset.
Spot silver fell 1.2% to $33.61 an ounce; platinum lost 1.6% to $980.90; and palladium fell 0.8% to $959.20.
