After nearly 20 hours of traveling at sea, on the morning of March 21, ship 368 of Naval Region 3 rescued two fishing boats with registration numbers DNa 91095 TS and DNa 91282 TS that were in distress at sea and brought them to Da Nang to hand over to the authorities.
Previously, at 8:15 p.m. on March 19, fishing boats DNa 91095 TS and DNa 91282TS were fishing with a trawl net at sea when their engines and rudders broke down and they drifted about 36 nautical miles southeast of Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang City. Due to the influence of the monsoon, the weather at sea was very bad at the time, with rough seas, strong northeast winds of level 5-6, gusting to level 7, making communication and access to the fishing boat very difficult.

Immediately after receiving the information, at 8:00 a.m. on March 20, Naval Region 3 dispatched ship 368, which was on a mission at sea, to urgently move to the area to deploy a search and rescue plan.
At 10:00 a.m. the same day, ship 368 successfully approached ships DNa 91095 TS and DNa 91282TS, 15 nautical miles southeast of Cu Lao Cham Island, Quang Nam Province. Officers and soldiers of ship 368 quickly approached the fishing boat to visit and encourage the fishermen and organized a tow to safely bring the two fishing boats back to shore.
