The attraction of Vovinam at the 32nd SEA Games is very clear, the competition days are always packed with home audiences and the Vovinam teams of the countries always pay close attention to their teammates and opponents. The home team is at the top of the overall rankings with 10 gold medals in Vovinam, which is not surprising since Cambodia has many athletes who speak Vietnamese fluently after a long time of training in Vietnam. Female athlete Pal Chhor Raksmy speaks Vietnamese quite fluently: "I won 4 gold medals this time, I am very happy after so many days of hard training".

Immediately after the conclusion of the 32nd SEA Games, recognizing the success of the Thai Vovinam delegation, the Secretary General of the Thai Olympic Committee promised to support Vovinam in the competition program at the 33rd SEA Games in 2025, held in Thailand. Vovinam also received a commitment to continue supporting at regional and continental competitions from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Indonesia and the Olympic Committees of Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and the Philippines.

The rotating position of President of the Southeast Asian Vovinam Federation has been transferred to Mr. Santipharp Intaraphartn, Vice President of the Southeast Asian Vovinam Federation and President of the Thai Vovinam Association, to continue the journey of campaigning for Vovinam to be included in the 33rd SEA Games as well as to coordinate with Vietnam to consolidate and build forces, develop the Vovinam movement in Timor Leste, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
