Hanoi, April 22, 2024 - VinFast Trading and Service Company Limited and Cho Tot Company Limited announced the implementation of the "Trade-in - Exchange for new electric cars" program for all old car owners who want to switch to new VinFast electric cars from April 22, 2024. Specifically, customers who own VinFast gasoline and electric cars will be committed to purchasing at an attractive price based on a fixed annual depreciation rate. Customers who own gasoline cars of other brands will also be supported by Cho Tot to purchase to easily switch to VinFast electric cars.

Following the success of the program "Trade in old gasoline motorbikes - Exchange for new electric motorbikes" launched from the end of March 2024, the program "Trade in old - Exchange for new electric cars" jointly implemented by VinFast and Cho Tot will bring customers the opportunity to easily switch from gasoline vehicles of all brands to VinFast electric cars with optimal benefits. VinFast electric car owners who want to upgrade to higher-end models will also have a reliable address to resell used cars with the best price commitment on the market.

Specifically, customers who own VinFast gasoline and electric cars will be committed to being purchased by Cho Tot at the remaining value based on a fixed annual depreciation rate, up to 88% compared to the current listed price. For customers who own gasoline cars of other brands, Cho Tot is also committed to purchasing at a transparent price compared to the market, providing on-site service or directly at VinFast's designated showrooms, helping customers conveniently and quickly sell old gasoline cars and exchange them for new VinFast electric cars.

In particular, when buying a new VinFast electric car, customers who sell their old cars to Cho Tot will enjoy the "3 best" preferential interest rate policy that VinFast is implementing in the "2nd Strong Vietnamese Spirit" program, specifically: the longest loan term - up to 8 years; the largest loan value - up to 80% of the car price; and the most attractive loan interest rate. The amount that customers have to pay to the bank every month is calculated according to the fixed annuity method, not fluctuating according to market developments, helping customers proactively plan their personal finances. In particular, if they do not take out an installment loan but choose to pay in full, customers will receive an immediate 4% discount off the car price.

Speaking about the "Trade-in - Trade-in electric car" program in cooperation with Cho Tot, Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang - General Director of VinFast Vietnam Market said: "One of the barriers that prevents a segment of customers from being ready to make the green switch to using electric cars is because they have difficulty transferring the car they are using. The cooperation model between VinFast and Cho Tot offers customers a complete solution with many benefits such as selling old cars at good prices and easily buying new cars with attractive incentives. I believe that this model will also receive the response of a large number of customers and become a driving force for more and more people to boldly switch to electric cars, similar to the program with electric motorbikes that we are implementing" .

Mr. Nguyen Trong Tan - General Director of Cho Tot said: “As a trading platform accompanying Vietnamese people for more than 10 years, Cho Tot has seen the increasing demand for electric vehicles in recent times. Electric vehicles are no longer a trend of the future but a need of the present. With the expansion of cooperation with VinFast for both motorbikes and electric cars, we hope to bring more opportunities for Vietnamese people to switch to electric vehicles at optimal costs and many incentives throughout the usage process. Our goal is to help many Vietnamese people own modern, safe and environmentally friendly electric vehicles, contributing to creating positive changes for traffic and urban environment in Vietnam”.
