Thanks to this car wash, people can confidently produce and harvest agricultural products, without having to worry about being fined when tractors splash mud and dirt onto the streets.

Cleaning muddy noodle trucks

It is known that dozens of hectares of cassava in Nguyen Trai ward are in harvest season, tractors carrying cassava run noisily from the fields to the streets all day long.

The dirt road leading to the cassava plantation of the local people is currently under repair and is very muddy. Tractors carrying cassava go in and out continuously, all of them covered in mud.

Many drivers are worried about being fined when their tractors spill mud and dirt onto the streets, affecting traffic.

Knowing the people's concerns, the People's Committee of Nguyen Trai Ward set up a tractor washing station to help people clean up mud before they go to the provincial road.

Not only does this limit administrative penalties, it also helps protect the common environment for many households in Group 3 and Group 4 and ensures safety for vehicles traveling on the road.

Mr. Tran Van Phuc - Vice Chairman of Nguyen Trai Ward People's Committee - said that to organize the activity of washing tractors for people, the ward has set up a car wash point and assigned forces to take turns on duty. The car wash point is set up right at the location where tractors are preparing to go to the provincial road.

The participating forces are the grassroots security team, militia, and ward police. Among them, one group is in charge of washing cars, another group is in charge of traffic control so that the work can take place smoothly and quickly.

The ward leader informed that the car wash point will operate until the number of vehicles used by people harvesting cassava decreases. The government has assigned a schedule for duty and car washing so that the participating forces can ensure the assigned work.

This car wash has been in operation for over a week now and has made a strong impression on locals and tractor owners. Locals appreciate and support the help of the commune government.

Drivers... excited with the 30,000 VND "fine", people happy to keep the streets clean

Every day, this car wash receives and services dozens of tractors, ensuring that vehicles are clean when they hit the streets. For each 20-minute wash, the car wash collects 30,000 VND to pay for electricity, water, and machine and equipment rentals from residents.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan - resident of Group 4, Nguyen Trai Ward - said that the road to the farming area is under construction at this time, and it is very muddy during the rainy season. Thanks to this car wash, people feel very secure when driving their cars to the provincial road, without worrying about affecting others.

Meanwhile, Mr. Linh Cuong, resident of Vinh Quang ward, shared that since this car wash point was opened, the situation of mud falling onto the provincial road has no longer happened.

Each driver only spends about 30,000 VND to have their car washed thoroughly and cleanly.

This also helps to protect the general hygiene of the area and the safety of vehicles on the road. People are very excited to receive support from the government.

As a participant in the car wash, Mr. Tran Van Chau, security guard of Nguyen Trai ward, shared that although it was only established for a short time, the car wash has received support from the people, farm owners and tractor drivers.

Car wash crews are on duty every day to ensure all tractors are clean and free of mud before they hit the streets.

"At first, we had a lot of difficulty washing cars because we didn't have enough tools and experience. But now the car washing and coordination work has become more organized, saving time for cars to come in and out, and preventing traffic jams," Mr. Chau shared.
