Why has Bao Thanh been absent from TV shows recently?

Recently, Bao Thanh made a rare return to television as a guest on the show Listen to Music with Me. Here, the actress of Come Home, My Child shared her emotional thoughts about her career. More specifically, she revealed the reason for quitting acting despite being a beloved face on the small screen.

Bao Thanh revealed the reason for quitting acting to return to the stage.

Bao Thanh said the reason she quit acting was to return to the stage. She explained: "The stage lights have a tremendous attraction, standing on stage, the lights shine on, below is the audience, the feeling is very different... Maybe here I don't tremble at all, but when I step onto the stage, looking down at the many audiences below, I feel trembling. But if one day I step onto the stage and I no longer tremble, then my youth is gone, my charm is gone. My teacher taught me that if I no longer feel fresh, then I should probably consider quitting this profession. Because when I go on stage, I always have to be new to be an artist."

Bao Thanh shared that she feels lucky and proud to be a member of the People's Police Drama Theater. The mother of two children thanked her husband for supporting Bao Thanh's passion for the stage and her desire to follow in her parents' footsteps : "He always supports, understands, worries and takes on all the work that I should do, so that I can have years of peace of mind to pursue my artistic activities and achieve the successes I have today."

The actress of "Come home, my child" thanks her husband for always supporting her.

However, Bao Thanh still hopes that in the near future, if there is a good script or role, she will return to the screen. The actress emotionally shared that she appreciates the love the audience has for her: "Throughout all the years of making films, the audience has always given Bao Thanh the love that any artist would wish to have. The most important thing is that even though I have been on maternity leave for such a long time, everyone still loves, urges, and waits for Thanh to settle down with her family and then return to making films. That is an extremely great happiness for an artist like me."

Bao Thanh was born in 1990 and joined the Youth Theater. Later, because she wanted to be in the same industry as her husband, she transferred to the People's Police Drama Troupe. Although she was a drama actress, Bao Thanh became famous and made her mark through popular TV series such as Dad, Mom, Are You Coming Back?, Marriage Contract, Living with Mother-in-law, The Day We Fell in Love, Judge, Come Home, The Eyes of Yin and Yang...
