Bao Thanh thanks her husband who used to be a police officer on VTV

After nearly 3 years off from acting to focus on family matters, Bao Thanh returned to VTV in the program Listen to Music with Me broadcast on the evening of May 28. The actress shared that in her career, she has enjoyed every film and role, but if she had to choose, Bao Thanh still likes Minh Van in Living with Mother-in-law the most because this is the role that brought her name and image to the audience the most.

The actress said that in the film crew, she had strong feelings for her 'mother-in-law' Lan Huong. After the two finished acting out the argument scene and the director shouted "cut", Bao Thanh and People's Artist Lan Huong both sat in a corner, not talking to each other because they couldn't get out of character.

"When we rehearsed, we only did dialogue, but when we actually filmed, there were many shocking scenes. I didn't think Huong's mother would act like that. The arguments with Lan Huong's mother were very real and her mother really hit me, and I was really upset," Bao Thanh said.

Bao Thanh shared that there were days when she filmed crying scenes from morning to night, and when she got home she was so sad that she didn't want to talk to her husband. The actress compared herself to being depressed and only returning to normal the next morning.

Also in the program, Bao Thanh shared that her youth is her first son, who is now 12 years old. While still studying at the University of Theatre and Cinema, she married her husband Duc Thang and gave birth to a child when she was only 21 years old. "When I sit here, I still feel proud of myself and emotional when I remember that time. I feel so good that I overcame it," she said. However, Bao Thanh confided that she never regretted giving birth at that time.

The actress of "Come Home, My Child" also had many compliments for her husband: "I like the police, my husband is also a police officer and I always have special feelings for the officers, it's like pride and honor. When I told him that I wanted to return to the stage (People's Police Theater) because the stage is my greatest passion and I want to follow in my parents' footsteps, he agreed immediately."

"Once again, thank you, my dear husband, for supporting, understanding, worrying, and taking on all the work I should have done so that I could have years of peace of mind to do art and be successful like today," Bao Thanh told her husband on television.

Also in the program, the actress thanked the audience for their love for her over the years, even when Bao Thanh stopped acting, focused on her family and gave birth to her second child. She hopes to soon find a good script to return to making films.
