The above information was sent by the "giant" Google to its customer partners in Vietnam via email in the past few days.
Google said that from April 1, 2025, Google Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., headquartered in Singapore, will transfer the contractual rights and obligations of its advertising partners in Vietnam to Google Vietnam Company Limited, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City.
Google Vietnam LLC will directly manage activities related to Google Ads advertising and other Google products in Vietnam, and will be responsible for issuing invoices to customers upon payment, invoices are calculated in Vietnamese currency (VND) and include a 10% VAT tax according to Vietnamese law.
Google also requires its customer partners to provide tax codes, names and addresses to Google Vietnam, matching the information registered with the tax authority to receive valid invoices.
From 1-3-2025, Google Vietnam will officially be responsible for customer partners listed in the Vietnam section and this will not cause any service interruption.
Assessing the Vietnamese market, Google said: "Vietnam's digital economy is transforming rapidly. It's exciting to see how people use the Internet, our tools and services to grow and create.
We now have a team in place to better serve advertising clients in Vietnam and support the country's digital transformation."
According to Tuoi Tre Online 's research, Google Vietnam Company Limited (English name: Google VietNam Company Limited) was established on May 31, 2023, is operating, managed by the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department and last updated its tax code on December 3, 2024.
