The workshop was held on the occasion of the launch of the Erasmus+ Project “Promoting the development of a digital technology ecosystem in higher education in Vietnam” (ACCEES).

The workshop was attended by representatives of Can Tho University; leaders of ACCEES project member universities; keynote speakers from Australia and Japan; staff and lecturers of ACCEES project member universities and representatives of enterprises and partner organizations associated with the project.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the ACCEES project launch workshop in Can Tho, Professor Nicolas Maïnetti, Regional Director, AUF Asia - Pacific, said: This workshop is organized with the main objectives including: Raising awareness of stakeholders about key elements in the digital transformation strategy in higher education; assessing the current situation and necessary conditions for the digital transformation strategy in higher education in Vietnam; sharing experiences in developing information and communication technology applications and digital transformation in higher education in developed countries; officially launching the ACCEES project.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University is the only non-public university as a beneficiary among the 14 beneficiaries of the project.

With this ACCEES project, Nguyen Tat Thanh University hopes to create a breakthrough in developing a comprehensive digital ecosystem, improving the quality of training and research, and equipping students with essential digital skills to adapt to the labor market in the digital age. The University aims to become a pioneer model in digital transformation of higher education in Vietnam, opening up new opportunities for international cooperation and creating an innovative learning environment for future generations of students.
