Vietnamese women were awarded the eight golden words “Heroic - Indomitable - Loyal - Responsible” by Uncle Ho during the resistance war and the eight golden words “Loyal, Responsible, Talented, Heroic” during the renovation period by the Party and State. This not only encourages and motivates but also acknowledges and evaluates the great role of Vietnamese women, continuing to overcome all prejudices and challenges, striving to make positive contributions to social activities with more than 50% of the population and nearly 50% of the social workforce.

Women are half of humanity, mothers, wives, and play a particularly important role in building a happy family. The ancients often said, "Men build houses, women build homes." This saying affirms the importance of women as the ones who maintain cultural and ethical lifestyles, care for material and spiritual life, and are the emotional center of family members and the relationship between the family and the clan and the community. Together, they share joys and sorrows, divide labor, and take common responsibility before the family and society.

It can be said that women are the soul of the family in organizing life both materially and spiritually. Housework is also one of the jobs that generate indirect economic income. Many women have become one of the main characters creating economic income to support the family, always having boundless love and sacrifice, extraordinary determination to overcome hardships and difficulties in life to protect the family.

Building a family of “Prosperity, equality, progress, and happiness” is an issue that attracts the attention of many people. Today's families are facing a series of major challenges when shifting from the traditional family model to the modern family. To survive and develop, each family must find ways to adapt to new conditions, each member must adjust their relationships within the family. In reality, rapid economic development along with advances in science and technology also obscures some spiritual and moral values, many families are facing many difficulties and deadlocks, affecting the development of the younger generation. Women face many difficulties and challenges when performing the role of mother, the first teacher of human beings in the context of many changes in society and family, which have a significant impact on the formation of a complete and happy family.

Currently, all sectors and levels are very interested in family work. Activities of socio-political organizations, associations and groups aim to bring positive values ​​to families such as: the emulation movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families" associated with promoting "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's"; training the moral qualities of Vietnamese women "Self-respect - Confidence - Loyalty - Responsibility"; the Vietnam Fatherland Front has the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"; the veterans' association has the movement "Exemplary veterans"; The elderly association has a movement called "Exemplary grandparents, filial children and grandchildren"... These are movements and activities that bring new knowledge and new forms to gather women and family members to participate in building a new lifestyle, developing family economy, taking care of health, entertainment... to contribute to building a happy family.

In the new conditions like today, women themselves practice to improve their general knowledge, knowledge about family, health care, knowledge about society, always preserve good traditional moral values, be exemplary, always be aware and create the image of a woman "virtuous, beautiful, eloquent, virtuous". That is to educate, connect, share, understand, each member has the responsibility to build a complete happy family.

Socio-political organizations, especially women's associations at all levels, always accompany women, strengthen propaganda work for movements and campaigns. Innovate content, rich and diverse forms, suitable to the current situation, coordinate to improve the quality of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".

Organizing many activities to praise and honor the image of capable women, studious families, exemplary grandparents, and filial children has a strong impact, bringing profound positive values ​​to the community to push back negativity.

In any era, women always have an important role and position in the family and are the ones who preserve and honor good values, traditional cultural values, unite members together, work towards building a prosperous, progressive, happy family, contributing significantly to the overall development of society.
