Arsenal receive both good and bad news before match against Real Madrid

In the press conference before round 30 of the Premier League, coach Mikel Arteta provided important information about Arsenal's squad situation.

"Saka is in good shape. He can play from the start in the match against Fulham (in round 30 of the Premier League this midweek).

"Obviously there is a possibility, let's wait and see. Throughout this time, he has been as careful as possible, to be ready to return at the right time," said coach Arteta.

Saka suffered a serious hamstring injury in December last year. He had to undergo surgery and has been out of the game for more than 100 days since then. It is also the most serious injury of Saka's career.

Saka has missed a total of 19 Arsenal games in all competitions over the past three months. During Saka's absence, Arsenal have been knocked out of the FA Cup and League Cup and have fallen behind Liverpool in the Premier League title race.

Despite missing nearly half the season, Saka still leads the way in terms of goal contributions for Arsenal this season, with 9 goals and 13 assists.

With Saka's return, Arsenal are confident heading into the big match with Real Madrid - a team that has also been plagued by injuries this season.

On the other hand, the "gunners" also received bad news when center-back Riccardo Calafiori confirmed an injury after the international match.

The Italian centre-back will definitely sit out the match against Fulham in the early morning of April 2, and will also hardly be able to return in time for the match against Real Madrid in the middle of next week.

Calafiori moved to Arsenal from Bologna for £34m this summer. He has made 26 appearances for his new club, scoring three goals.
