Operating the automatic immigration control gate system, creating a good impression for passengers when coming to Da Nang

On the morning of March 20, at Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) officially handed over the Automatic Immigration Control Gate system (Autogate) to the Immigration Department - Ministry of Public Security.

This is one of the important steps in the airport modernization strategy, towards a smart airport terminal model, helping to optimize the aviation check-in process, minimize waiting time and improve passenger experience.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thi Minh Loan, Head of Logistics Department, Immigration Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that this is an important milestone for a strong transformation in the application of science and technology in state management in general and immigration management in particular.

"The implementation of the automatic immigration control gate system will contribute to simplifying immigration procedures; shortening and saving time for passengers; reducing pressure on authorities and bringing a convenient experience to Vietnamese citizens and foreigners when entering and exiting Vietnam," said Lieutenant Colonel Loan.

After handover, the system was officially put into operation at Da Nang International Airport, helping to optimize the flow of international passengers while ensuring accuracy and safety in the control process.

Mr. Do Trong Hau, Deputy General Director of AHT Company, said that this event marks an important step in modernizing immigration procedures, helping to improve the quality of passenger service and optimize operations at the airport.
