Based on the water levels of hydropower reservoirs at 1:00 p.m. on October 12, 2023 (Bung 2 River: 587.26m; Bung 4 River: 209.49m; A Vuong: 349.92m, Dak Mi 4: 245.87m; Tranh River: 147.67m) and the water levels at Hoi Khach hydrological station, Ai Nghia hydrological station, Nong Son hydrological station, Cau Lau hydrological station at 1:00 p.m. on October 12, 2023 are below alert level 1.
To proactively respond, the Head of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue of Quang Nam province requested Dak Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company, Song Bung Hydropower Company, A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company, and Song Tranh Hydropower Company to proactively calculate and organize operations to ensure that the water level of Song Bung 2, Song Bung 4, A Vuong, Dak Mi 4, and Song Tranh 2 hydropower reservoirs does not exceed the lowest flood water level and switch to operating mode according to regulations.
The organization of operation must ensure that there are no sudden, abnormal flows that directly threaten the lives and property of people in the riverside areas downstream of the reservoir. The organization must inform and notify the authorities and people in the downstream areas about the operation and regulation of the reservoir.
Regularly provide flood forecast bulletins on the lake and rainfall data from measuring stations in the lake basin to the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue of Quang Nam province for monitoring and direction.
