Nurturing painting from painting workshops

Under the guidance of experienced people, children are free to create colorful works.

At the workshop, children are guided and experience basic drawing techniques, color mixing, and painting. Ms. Tran Thi Kim Nhung, owner of a shop on Vu Trong Phung Street (Nam Dinh City), said: Every weekend, she builds workshops with different themes such as basic fine arts, loving brush strokes, letters and substance... with many attractive activities, hoping that her two children and other children will have a creative space. Participating in the workshops, children are guided about colors, participate in painting according to the themes: animals, nature, fairy tale characters; Drawing on materials: fabric, wood, stone, t-shirts, shoes, etc. Ms. Nhung added: “Participating in drawing workshops can help children develop creative thinking, increase self-confidence; improve observation and concentration skills; develop communication and teamwork skills; relax, relieve stress; help children temporarily stay away from technological devices, immerse themselves in colors, scenery, and nature. Many parents discover their children's passions and talents to invest in their development.”

Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Linh on Tran Nhat Duat Street (Nam Dinh City) has a 7-year-old son and said: Seeing that her son likes to draw and color, she looked into drawing classes to send him to during the summer. Through her friends' sharing, she learned about a drawing workshop for children equipped with full drawing materials and accessories. At the workshop, under the guidance of experienced people; learning about colors and basic techniques, the child was able to freely create with colors and images. "My child seemed very excited and interested during the drawing time. I saw that he was more attentive and focused for a long time. After a few sessions, if my child is really passionate, I will invest in him to participate in specialized drawing classes according to his age," Ms. Linh added.

The workshops often attract children from 4 to 10 years old to participate. Children can choose from many different topics and draw freely, so they are very excited. Ms. Nguyen Thu Quyen on Giai Phong Street (Nam Dinh City) shared: “After 3 painting workshops, every time my child comes home, he is very excited about his products. It could be a painting of his favorite character, a book bag he created himself, or a bookmark he colored himself. If I didn't let him participate in these activities, I don't think he could be so creative.”

Kohi Coffee Shop, Loc Vuong Lake Street, Loc Vuong Ward (Nam Dinh City) is also one of the places that organizes many different workshops such as flower art, painting, embossed embroidery, etc. In which, the painting workshops attract the participation of many students and young people. Ms. Pham Ngoc Anh, owner of Kohi Coffee Shop, shared that the workshops do not require participants to be skillful or know much about painting. In the workshops, she often invites some teachers and inspirational people to share their knowledge and experience, thereby evoking emotions in each person. In a quiet space with pre-prepared materials, everyone is free to create, explore their own abilities with painting, and feel relaxed after stressful hours of studying and working. In addition, she also organizes some family painting workshops, creating opportunities for parents and children to bond through art.

Painting workshops not only help children have fun but also provide an opportunity for them to develop their imagination, creative thinking and expressive skills. Participating in colorful art lessons helps children find passion and become more confident in the world of painting.
