Nha Trang City People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of the communes and wards: Phuoc Hai, Phuoc Long, Vinh Thai, Phuoc Dong, Vinh Hiep to find solutions to completely resolve the pollution of Quan Truong River; strengthen inspection and strictly handle cases of arbitrarily installing pipes to discharge production, domestic waste, and livestock wastewater directly into the river.

Previously, on March 7, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Conclusion Notice No. 1109 of Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies at the regular weekly meeting, which required relevant agencies, units and localities to have effective plans and solutions to completely resolve the pollution of Quan Truong River; organize inspections and strictly handle cases of arbitrarily installing discharge pipes directly into the river. In the long term, there should be a plan to dredge the riverbed, clear the flow, ensure clearance and protect the environment.
