(VLO) On the afternoon of February 25, the People's Committee of Vinh Long province signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City on training and human resource development; scientific research and technology transfer; policy consulting and review.
Attending the ceremony were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - Director of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics.

At the ceremony, Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics signed a cooperation program for the period 2025-2030, with key content groups: Training and human resource development; scientific research and technology transfer; policy consulting and review.
After 7 years of implementing the cooperation program between Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (2017-2024), remarkable results have been achieved. Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics Branch in Vinh Long has become a prestigious and quality training address.
Up to now, there have been more than 6,200 students, short-term training links, and management capacity enhancement training for more than 4,700 students who are cadres, civil servants, and employees of agencies and enterprises of the province. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees in performing their tasks at agencies and units.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi highly appreciated the good cooperation between the two units in the past time. Thereby, he wished to continue to build connections, share potential, exploit and maximize the resources and strengths of both sides to serve the common development in the coming time.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Lu Quang Ngoi requested the provincial departments, branches and unions to proactively coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics Branch in Vinh Long to concretize the plan and implement the signed contents. The province always accompanies and is ready to create all favorable conditions for the cooperative relationship to be more effective in the coming time.
