Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, gave an overview of the potential and advantages of socio-economic development of the province, emphasizing: Thai Binh is located in the economic growth triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh, the regional transportation system is synchronous and is being invested in modernly. The province has an Economic Zone and a system of industrial parks and industrial clusters with large industrial development land funds, available clean land, and synchronously invested technical infrastructure. Abundant human resources and well-trained skills with good quality meet the recruitment needs of investors when implementing projects. Thai Binh actively reforms administrative procedures, improves the investment and business environment and always accompanies, supports, and removes difficulties to help businesses develop stably and effectively. Thai Binh is an attractive investment location for domestic and foreign investors. There are 198 FDI projects in the province with a total registered investment capital of about 5.8 billion USD. Of which, there are 30 projects of Chinese investors with a total investment capital of 600 million USD . Currently, there are many Chinese investors operating in the province. Thai Binh province always accompanies, supports, and creates the most favorable conditions for investors throughout the process of investment research, project implementation, and production and business activities in the province.

Mr. Vu Duong, Secretary of the Ha Khau District Party Committee, Yunnan Province, China, thanked Thai Binh Province for the warm and thoughtful welcome and expressed his impression of the province's socio-economic development. Informing about the socio-economic situation, potentials and strengths of the locality, the Secretary of the Ha Khau District Party Committee said that Ha Khau has a very important geographical position in the Vietnam - China economic corridor, is a key trade gateway, connecting the Chinese market with Vietnam and ASEAN countries. In particular, the Yunnan Province Free Trade Pilot Zone - Hong Ha sub-zone has developed very strongly. The Secretary of the Ha Khau District Party Committee said that Thai Binh has great potential for cooperation in economic development, especially in some areas such as: logistics, seafood development, livestock farming... In particular, the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway has started construction and come into operation, which will help connect Thai Binh with Ha Khau district conveniently. The Secretary of Hekou District hopes that the two localities will continue to promote and expand economic and trade cooperation, strengthen connections to promote regional linkages to develop supply chains in various fields. Along with that, research and build connections to attract investment, promote industries according to the strengths of each locality.
