On May 15, Tien Hai District Medical Center coordinated with Nam Phu Commune Health Station (Tien Hai) to organize health check-ups for women in the commune.

Nearly 100 women in Nam Phu commune have been informed, counseled, and provided reproductive health care; examined, detected, and prescribed treatment for gynecological diseases; provided with contraceptive services; and received ultrasound, testing, and treatment consultation for some non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, liver disease, etc.

Previously, Tien Hai District Medical Center organized health examinations and consultations for women in coastal communes such as Dong Tra, Dong Long, Dong Hoang, Dong Minh, Nam Cuong, Nam Hung, Nam Thinh. The goal is to mobilize the participation of all levels, sectors, and organizations in promoting propaganda, advocacy, and providing maternal and child health care services, family planning to meet the needs of couples of childbearing age in coastal areas with high birth rates and third child birth rates to maintain replacement fertility, stabilize population size, and improve population quality.

It is expected that from July 1 to September 30, 2023, Tien Hai District Medical Center will continue to carry out public health care activities; examine, detect and prescribe treatment for reproductive tract infections for women in 8 coastal communes of Tien Hai district.
