Information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Provincial Police: At 4:50 p.m. on April 12, the unit received a report of a drowning accident at Huong Son Lake, Van Son Commune (Trieu Son).

Immediately afterwards, officers, soldiers and equipment of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 5 were quickly mobilized to the scene and deployed a search plan.

After nearly 1 hour of diving and searching in stormy weather, the Fire Police and Rescue Force coordinated with the authorities and people to find the bodies of the 2 victims and handed them over to their families for funeral arrangements.

Fire and Rescue Police officers and soldiers brought the victim's body ashore and handed it over to the family.

The two victims were identified as LAT and NVD, both born in 2009, residing in village 1, Nong Truong commune, studying in grades 10 and 11.

The families of both victims are in very difficult circumstances. T.'s parents work far away, and he has been living with his grandparents for a long time.

It is known that before the heartbreaking incident happened, the 2 victims and 5 friends invited each other to play soccer in Van Son commune. However, seeing the hot weather, the group of students invited each other to go swimming in a nearby lake.
