The Cyberspace Administration of China said on its website that Micron products pose unspecified “serious cybersecurity risks” that endanger information infrastructure and affect national security.

The United States, Europe and Japan are cutting off China’s access to advanced chips and other technology that they say could be used in weapons. Beijing is investing billions of dollars to try to accelerate the development of domestically produced chips and reduce the need for foreign technology.
