Initial investigation documents determined that from August 2021 to present, the defendants established Rance Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Hacofood Group Nutrition Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company to produce and trade powdered milk. After that, the group produced 573 brands of powdered milk of various types, mainly milk for people with diabetes, kidney failure, premature babies, and pregnant women.

The advertised ingredients in the milk include bird's nest extract, cordyceps, macadamia powder, and walnut powder, but in reality, they are completely absent. The product quality is below 70% of the declared level, which is enough to qualify as counterfeit goods. From 2021 to present, the defendants have sold various types of milk to the market, generating nearly 500 billion VND in revenue. The police are consolidating the case file to handle the subjects.
