According to the representative of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the release of the White Paper aims to clarify the current status of China-US economic and trade relations and present China's policy stance on issues related to China-US economic and trade relations.
In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the main contents of the White Paper include: The nature of China-US economic and trade relations is mutual benefit and win-win; China seriously implements the phase 1 economic and trade agreements with the US; China and the US can resolve economic and trade disagreements through equal dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation...
China believes that economic and trade relations are an important part of China-US relations as the largest developing country and the largest developed country in the world , the two countries have complementary natural resources, human resources, markets, capital, technology, etc., so that they can cooperate for mutual benefit and win-win. Therefore, China-US economic and trade relations are important to both countries as well as to the stability and development of the global economy.
China believes that as two major countries with different levels of development and economic systems, it is normal for China and the US to have differences and frictions in economic and trade cooperation. The two sides need to respect each other's core interests and major concerns and properly resolve differences through equal dialogue.
The Chinese side suggested that the two countries coordinate their actions, abide by the guidelines of the two heads of state during their phone calls, adhere to the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, win-win cooperation, strengthen dialogue, manage differences and promote cooperation...
