10 years ago, on July 25, 2014, in response to the requirements of the context at that time and the continuous growth of the People's Public Security Forces, along with many regiments and professional units under the Mobile Police Command, the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment was established. After a 10-year journey with many difficulties and challenges, the Regiment has affirmed its important role in ensuring local security and protecting peace for the people.
As a special combat unit with concentrated armed combat, the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment is stationed in 3 provinces (Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen), with the task of ensuring security and order; participating in rescue, relief, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and fires in 7 Northeast provinces: Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Bac Kan.
On the first day of establishment, there were only 37 officers and soldiers, but now the Regiment has nearly 700 officers and soldiers. Along with professional tasks, the unit has received and trained 6,559 citizens to perform their duty to join the People's Public Security Forces of the Mobile Police Command and localities; 141 conscripts of the unit were admitted to the People's Public Security and People's Army schools. That affirms the quality of training as well as the unit's attention and support for soldiers in their journey to realize their dream of joining the ranks of the People's Armed Forces, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland.
Sharing about the difficulties, challenges and achievements that the Regiment has achieved in the past time, Colonel Nguyen Van Vinh, Regiment Commander, said: Right from the first days of establishment, the Party Committee and the Regiment Command Board have always clearly identified the opportunities, advantages as well as the immediate and long-term difficulties and challenges. From there, they have proposed appropriate leadership and direction policies and measures, orienting the Regiment's operations with the motto of both receiving and training officers and soldiers, and consolidating, building and developing the unit.
With the goal of building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern CSCĐ force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation, in the past 10 years, the unit has organized many field trips, with tens of thousands of officers and soldiers going to remote areas, ethnic minority areas, and areas with complex security and order issues in 7 northeastern provinces. Here, officers and soldiers both surveyed the area to develop combat plans and did mass mobilization work. Thereby, it has created closeness, leaving a good image of the CSCĐ force in particular, and the CAND in general, in the hearts of the people, contributing to promoting the movement of the whole people to protect national security. in the Northeastern provinces.
The Northeast Mobile Police Regiment is one of the "spearhead" units in training, combat readiness, and rapid mobility to promptly prevent and suppress disturbances, illegal demonstrations, political riots, armed riots, and coordinate the capture of dangerous criminals. The unit regularly coordinates with local forces to organize patrols, control and maintain security and order; participate in rescue, disaster prevention, and overcoming the consequences of storms, floods, fires, etc. The officers and soldiers of the Regiment always uphold their sense of responsibility with the spirit of "overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain, practicing enthusiastically", practicing day and night to master the theory and practice military technical and tactical movements, and skillfully use military weapons and support tools equipped to serve work and combat. Combat plans, regional defense plans, and counter-terrorism plans on all types of terrain and locations are all practiced thoroughly by the unit, with a combat-ready mindset.
The Northeast Mobile Police Regiment has participated in many drills and sports events in the area. In Quang Ninh alone, the unit has increased 450 officers and soldiers to coordinate with the police of Quang Ninh, Hai Duong and Bac Giang provinces to carry out the task of ensuring security and order, controlling and preventing the Covid-19 epidemic; participating in the task of ensuring security and order, safety for the 31st SEA Games; participating in firefighting, search and rescue drills at Wyndham Legend Ha Long Hotel, Van Hai Hotel and Cua Luc beach area, Ha Long City; training 3 blocks with 250 officers and soldiers to participate in the 60th Anniversary of the founding of Quang Ninh province...
Along with performing well the professional tasks, the Regiment focuses on implementing social work programs, for the community life with many activities of giving gifts to policy households, households in difficult circumstances; building classrooms, toilets for schools in remote areas... which are highly appreciated by the Party committees, authorities and people.
Through practical work and combat, the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment has gradually matured, promoting its glorious heroic tradition, bravery and intelligence; affirming its armed strength to establish many outstanding achievements and feats of arms. In any historical period, generations of officers and soldiers of the Regiment have not been afraid of difficulties and hardships, always upholding the tradition, revolutionary will, spirit of dedication, ready to sacrifice for the country, taking the interests of the Fatherland and the people as the ideal, the highest goal to strive to achieve the goal of maintaining a peaceful life.
With its achievements, the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment has received many Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Public Security, and Quang Ninh province; twice received the Emulation Flag from the Prime Minister for outstanding units in the emulation movement (2017, 2021). On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the Regiment was honored to receive the Third Class Military Exploit Medal from the President.

They are the crystallization of the profound understanding and serious, creative and effective implementation of the leadership and direction of the Ministry of Public Security and the Mobile Police Command, along with the solidarity and tireless efforts of generations of officers and soldiers of the Regiment.
