On the afternoon of July 29, in Uong Bi City, the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment - Mobile Police Command held a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary (July 25, 2014 - July 25, 2024) and received the Third Class Military Exploit Medal. Attending the ceremony were Major General Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Commander of Mobile Police; Comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Established on July 25, 2014, after 10 years of building, fighting and growing, the leadership and officers of the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment have overcome many difficulties and challenges, proactively carried out and excellently completed assigned tasks; demonstrated political mettle and absolute loyalty to the Party, the State and the revolutionary cause of the people.
With the characteristics of a special combat unit, armed with concentrated combat, the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment has the task of ensuring political security, social order and safety; participating in rescue, relief, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and fires in 7 northeastern provinces. This is also one of the "spearhead" units in training, combat readiness, quick mobility to prevent and promptly suppress at hot spots; participating in the fight to destroy major projects; not being passive or surprised about security and order. At the same time, actively carrying out social security work in the stationed area.
With its achievements, over the past 10 years, the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment has been recognized, commended, and awarded many noble prizes by the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, and local authorities. In particular, it has twice been awarded the Emulation Flag of the Prime Minister for its outstanding performance in the emulation movement for national security. These outstanding achievements and feats have further enhanced the heroic tradition of the People's Public Security Forces in general, the Mobile Police Force and the unit in particular; strengthening the people's trust and attachment to the People's Public Security Forces and the Mobile Police Force in the cause of protecting national security.
In the coming time, with the goal of modernizing the mobile police force, moving towards a regular, elite, and modern force by 2025 according to Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW of the Politburo, the unit will continue to overcome difficulties, promote the tradition of solidarity, democracy, innovation, and responsibility; strive, be dynamic, and creative, step by step building the style of a brave, humane, and serving-the-people police officer...
On this occasion, the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment was honored to receive the Third Class Military Exploit Medal from the President; the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and individuals and the People's Committee of Uong Bi city awarded certificates of merit to 20 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in coordinating to ensure security and order in the area.
