Exhibition of Then practice heritage and Cham pottery making

The exhibitions “Then practice of the Tay, Nung, Thai people in Vietnam” and “Pottery art of the Cham people” will take place from December 27 to 29.

The program is organized by the Tourism Information Center (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism), taking place at the Digital Culture and Arts Center 22 Hang Buom (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).

This is an opportunity to promote the unique cultural heritage of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas right in the heart of the capital, bringing the heritage closer to the people and domestic and international tourists.

The 2024 exhibition program will introduce outstanding values ​​of intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO, including "Then practice of the Tay, Nung, and Thai people in Vietnam" and "Pottery art of the Cham people".

In addition to the exhibition, the Organizing Committee also invited artisans from localities to participate in exchanges and performances; organized discussions and exchanges between experts, researchers, heritage-owning communities and tourists with the goal of promoting and developing tourism in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The program will take place at the Digital Arts Center 22 Hang Buom (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).

The organizers hope that through the program, the value of cultural heritage will be deeply ingrained and widely spread in social life, exploiting the outstanding value of intangible cultural heritage into attractive tourism products to attract tourists;

At the same time, this is also an opportunity to expand cultural exchanges between localities, promote promotion, and contribute to enhancing the role and responsibility of the community in preserving and promoting the traditional culture of ethnic groups.

Attracting social attention, helping to raise awareness of the importance of the heritage of ethnic minority communities in Vietnam. Contributing to the effective implementation of the goals and tasks of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period.
