According to Engadget , a new version of the game console has been launched by Microsoft. Accordingly, the company has just launched the Xbox Series S version with a beautiful Carbon Black color. This is a model that only supports digital games and does not have a physical drive.
The console has a matte finish similar to the high-end Series X model and comes with an Xbox Wireless Controller. The new Xbox Series S Carbon Black is now available for purchase with a retail price of $350.

The most notable detail of the new version is the storage capacity, since the Series S does not accept physical media, the hard drive is the only option for owners. The new version will have double the storage capacity to 1TB compared to the standard 512GB.
Previous versions were locked at 512GB, which was only enough to hold about 3-4 AAA games. For example, Bethesda’s newly released Starfield is 130GB. Assuming an average size of around 100GB, the new Series S will hold 7-8 high-end games along with a number of smaller indie titles.
The refreshed Series S also has a relatively eco-friendly design, with many components made from recycled plastic (PCR).

As for the Xbox Series X and Series S, both are next-generation consoles, but the Series S has less power than the Series X and also lacks a dedicated drive. However, the Series X is more expensive at $500 and the Series S costs between $300 and $350, depending on the available hard drive capacity.
Modern games can run on both Xbox consoles, but the Series S is designed for lower resolutions of 1080p or 1440p, while the Series X can hit 4K graphics quality.
