On the afternoon of November 7, Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Conference and Fair Organizing Subcommittee of the cultural exchange program - connecting Vietnamese - Korean enterprises "Thai Binh Homecoming Day" and the 2023 Northern Delta International Agricultural Fair (Conference and Fair Organizing Subcommittee) chaired a meeting of the subcommittee to listen to a report on the implementation of preparations for the Thai Binh - Korean investment, trade and tourism promotion conference and the 2023 Northern Delta International Agricultural Fair.

Up to now, preparations for organizing conferences and fairs are being urgently implemented. Regarding the Thai Binh - Korea Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Conference, it is expected to invite 400 delegates (Korean delegates, delegates from within and outside the province, ministries and central branches). The Conference and Fair Organizing Subcommittee has completed working with the Petroleum Hotel on the necessary conditions for organizing the conference and at the same time developing a draft of the conference program. Regarding the 2023 Northern Delta International Agricultural Fair, up to now, 300 booths of 120 units and enterprises have been mobilized to participate (including: 170 booths of corporations, enterprises, and promotion organizations of Vietnam; 32 booths displaying OCOP products, typical products of the province; about 100 booths displaying typical products of Korea); completing the overall design of the fair area; Advise the Provincial People's Committee to send invitations to provinces, embassies of countries, organizations, corporations, domestic and foreign enterprises...

Delegates discussed and gave opinions on seating arrangements, overall diagrams, booth diagrams, advertising panels, fair gates, etc. and reported on the progress of specific tasks of assigned subcommittee members.

Leaders of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board reported on the preparation for signing the MOU at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Conference and Fair Organizing Subcommittee, emphasized that the Thai Binh - Korea Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Conference and the 2023 Northern Delta International Agricultural Fair are two major events in the series of activities of the Vietnam - Korea cultural exchange - business connection program "Thai Binh Homecoming Day", which are important to help the province attract investment, support people and businesses to develop production, business and export goods. Therefore, he requested the members of the subcommittee to promptly review the progress and organize the implementation of tasks to ensure time and quality based on the detailed assignment table and completion time of specific tasks. In particular, develop a detailed scenario for the conference on investment, trade and tourism promotion between Thai Binh and Korea, a scenario for exchange and interaction, and collect questions, answers and necessary documents for the interactive exchange from departments and branches in the province, the central government and the Korean side; complete the dossier for granting investment registration certificates and the contents of signing the memorandum of understanding at the conference. For the 2023 Northern Delta International Agricultural Fair, set up booths, gates and science fair items, ensure security, order and social safety, and at the same time introduce and promote the province's typical products to domestic and international friends, creating a mark in promoting Thai Binh - Korea trade investment.
