Giving fishing gear and breeding cows to poor households in Ham Tan

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son My commune, Ham Tan district has just handed over fishing gear worth 25 million VND to the family of Mr. Duong Duc Linh, a poor household residing in village 4.

The members of the delegation congratulated and shared joy with the family; hoping that this support will help the family have more conditions to increase production and stabilize their lives.

Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thang Hai commune also presented a healthy breeding cow that had been fully vaccinated and quarantined by the professional sector, worth 25 million VND, to Mr. Le Van Dai's family in Ha Lang village. Mr. Dai's family is a poor household in the locality, living by working for hire, so their daily income is unstable and precarious.

It is known that these activities are a model of supporting livelihood capital for poor households in 2023 by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Tan district. Accordingly, the "For the Poor" Fund of the district will support 10 poor households, each household with 25 million VND (each commune and town selects 1 household) with a total amount of 250 million VND to buy breeding cows, small trading vehicles, tools for production... Thereby, helping poor households organize their own production, livestock, small business activities, create their own jobs, have more income to stabilize their lives, and gradually escape poverty.
