DNO - On November 21, the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Da Nang Traffic Works in coordination with the City's Construction Technical Consulting Center organized the announcement of the results and award ceremony of the competition for the planning and architectural design of the Le Thanh Nghi - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Thang Long traffic intersection cluster - the road leading to Hoa Xuan bridge.

Launched from May 19 to May 28, the contest received applications from 7 participating units. After 45 days of taking the contest, by August 1, 2024, 11 entries had been sent to the organizing committee.
Based on the competition plans, the council organized a selection and voted to select the best planning and architectural ideas to send to the Organizing Committee to submit to the Department of Construction for consideration.
Based on the report of the Department of Construction on the planning, architecture and organization of the selection, on November 14, 2024, the City People's Committee issued Decision No. 2561/QD-UBND on recognizing the results of the competition with the First Prize going to the Consortium of Chodai & Kiso-Jiban Vietnam Co., Ltd., T&D Vietnam Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company, NH VILLAGE Architecture Design Co., Ltd. and Hoa Phong E&C Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (prize value of 400 million VND); Second Prize going to VTCO Investment Co., Ltd. (prize value of 200 million VND); Third Prize going to the Consortium of Construction Investment Consulting and Technology Development Joint Stock Company and An Thy Architecture and Construction Joint Stock Company (prize value of 100 million VND).

In addition, the Management Board of Danang Traffic Construction Investment Projects awarded a community prize worth 50 million VND to the consortium of Chodai & Kiso-Jiban Vietnam Co., Ltd. and T&D Vietnam Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company and NH VILLAGE Architectural Design Co., Ltd.; awarded support costs to 5 contestants with high scores, who entered the second round.
According to the Management Board of Danang Traffic Construction Investment Projects, Hoa Xuan urban area is currently attracting an increasingly dense population, the traffic demand is increasing; especially during rush hour, the traffic volume at this location is very large, leading to frequent congestion in this area.
Therefore, the investment in the construction of a new Hoa Xuan bridge and the traffic intersections at both ends of the bridge is very urgent and will solve traffic congestion in the area, improve traffic capacity and safety when traveling through this area.
After the award announcement, the Management Board of Danang Traffic Construction Investment Projects will coordinate with the Department of Transport and the consulting unit to continue researching and selecting good ideas with high feasibility in the competition plans to complete the investment plan for the construction of Hoa Xuan Bridge project and the intersection cluster at both ends of the bridge, and submit it to the competent authority for approval for implementation in the coming time.
