My Tet Moment 2024. Contest entries

After a month of launching, My Tet Moments contest has received more than 500 entries, inspiring positivity and humanity in the first days of spring. 25 entries were selected for the final round.
Attending the award ceremony were Ms. Tran Thu Huong - Director of HD Bank's Operations Division, Ms. Truong Bao Chau - Deputy General Secretary of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, journalist Cao Huy Tho - Deputy Director of Tuoi Tre Newspaper's Media Service Center, writer Huynh Trong Khang, travel blogger and photographer Ngo Tran Hai An, Mr. Nguyen Truong Sinh - Head of the Wild Bird Photography Club, and authors with excellent articles in the contest.
Speaking at the event, journalist Truong Bao Chau assessed that the contest had articles about very special trips, satisfying many criteria of discovery, good writing style, and positively inspiring society.

Having worked with Tuoi Tre newspaper for many years in many competitions, Ms. Tran Thu Huong said that choosing quality articles was really difficult and mentally taxing for the judges.
"After a busy year of studying and working, Tet is always a very meaningful time for families to gather together. Therefore, we launched the contest with the desire to inspire and send many messages of Tet to everyone.
Every year, the quality of the articles increases significantly, conveying many humane messages about the meaning of life, and the number of contestants participating is also increasing and becoming more diverse," said Ms. Huong.

Sharing at the program, Mr. Yen Bach (25 years old) - author of the article "Spring running road on provincial road 639" - expressed his joy and surprise when his work won first prize in the contest.
This dentist chose Tet to run on the road in his hometown Binh Dinh.
Mr. Yen Bach said that young people today have gradually focused on health issues through exercise, and jogging is considered a simple yet effective sport that only requires a good pair of shoes, a good route, and does not necessarily require teammates.
"I just started running a year ago. In my opinion, running, whether short or long, helps relieve stress, clears blood vessels, and brings good spirit and energy to health. When running, whether old or young, you need to pay attention to listening to yourself and your breathing rhythm," he confided.
This year, the competition's prize structure includes cash and gifts: 1 first prize (15 million VND), 2 second prizes (7 million VND/prize), 3 third prizes (5 million VND/prize), 10 consolation prizes (1 million VND/prize).

Along with 10 consolation prizes. In addition, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Bao - an ornithologist - presented a gift of a VIP room voucher at WildBird Hotel to author Phan Quoc Cuong after reading the article Tet to Tram Chim National Park - A wonderful moment.
