On the afternoon of October 30, the Food Safety Management Board of Da Nang City summarized and awarded prizes to students and groups with outstanding achievements in the online contest to learn about food safety knowledge.
The online contest to learn about food safety knowledge organized by the Food Safety Management Board and the City Department of Education and Training took place over 2 weeks (September 23 to October 6) with the test content including 30 multiple choice questions and 1 essay question.
Awarding prizes to the two students who won first prize in the competition
The contest attracted 31,013 participants, including 12,523 students from 60 secondary schools and 17,619 students from 29 high schools. Some schools with a high number of students participating include Phan Chau Trinh High School (2,061 contestants), Thai Phien High School (1,878 contestants), Pham Phu Thu High School (1,350 contestants), Ngo Thi Nham Secondary School (1,210 contestants), Ton That Tung High School (1,208), Phan Thanh Tai High School (1,190).
Mr. Nguyen Tan Hai, Head of the Food Safety Management Board of Da Nang City, said that the contest was evaluated by public opinion as having a strong and practical influence, contributing to improving the capacity to prevent and proactively handle food poisoning and foodborne infectious diseases, and minimizing poisoning caused by consuming unsafe food.
In particular, the online exam format with convenient and attractive interface has attracted a large number of students to participate.
As a result, in the collective award, Nguyen Van Thoai High School won first prize, Nguyen Trai High School won second prize, Pham Phu Thu High School won third prize, and consolation prizes went to 3 schools: Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Nguyen Cong Tru Middle School and Phan Chau Trinh High School.
In the individual awards, Phan Nguyen Phuong Nghi (Nguyen Phu Huong Secondary School) and Pham Thi Tram Anh (Hoa Vang High School) shared first prize. Huynh Huyen Tran (Tran Quy Cap Secondary School), Truong Quang Vinh (Ly Tu Trong Secondary School), Tran Thuy Linh and Dang Nguyen Gia Huy (both from Nguyen Trai High School) won second prize.
Third prize went to Vo Van Trong (Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School), Luong Quang Tuan (Huynh Ba Chanh Secondary School), Vu Ta Phuong Uyen (Phan Chau Trinh High School) and Vu Huynh Phuong Thao (Nguyen Van Thoai High School).
In addition, the organizers also awarded consolation prizes to 8 other students.
