Awarding certificates of high quality Vietnamese goods to businesses

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai congratulated 529 enterprises that achieved the title of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods in 2024. At the same time, he highly appreciated the business community in general and high-quality Vietnamese goods enterprises in particular for their great contributions to the socio-economic development of Ho Chi Minh City in recent times. For nearly 30 years, the High-Quality Vietnamese Goods program has developed in the right direction, always updated, innovated and developed.

The program not only brings direct benefits to businesses, but also contributes to building brands (businesses that have been recognized as high-quality Vietnamese goods, or are building them), improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese products and goods. This brand and competitiveness are not simply those of businesses, but also the brand and competitiveness of the city and the country.

Emphasizing that at the end of 2023, the city issued a green growth strategy framework for the city until 2030, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee hopes that businesses will continue to accompany the High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Program to continue to develop further, joining hands with the city for the green-clean-digital goal that the city is building.

This year's survey on high-quality Vietnamese goods was conducted in the form of direct interviews with two subjects: consumers and retailers in four centrally-run cities (Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho).

In addition, the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Enterprises also organized an online survey nationwide with the participation of consumers in 63 provinces/cities. The results recorded more than 70,000 votes in both forms for businesses.

Among the 529 enterprises certified as high-quality Vietnamese goods, 32 enterprises have achieved the title of high-quality Vietnamese goods for 28 consecutive years, and 16 enterprises were voted for the first time.

Information from the consumer survey voting for high-quality Vietnamese products in 2024 shows that the group of new businesses that achieved the first voting rate (emerging) are businesses with breakthrough efforts in distribution activities with a fairly good increase in coverage in distribution systems.

Most of the newly-accredited enterprises are food product suppliers, typical enterprises in production practices, achieving OCOP certifications (4 stars, 5 stars).
