BTO-On the afternoon of September 2, the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province to organize the closing ceremony and summarize the awards for the exhibition "Cultural Heritage of Vietnam's Seas and Islands" after 1 week of operation.
The 2023 Exhibition “Cultural Heritage of Vietnam’s Seas and Islands” is a cultural event with the participation of 22 provinces and cities to introduce and honor the unique cultural and tourism values of the seas and islands to the people and domestic and international tourists. This exhibition is one of a series of activities within the framework of the National Tourism Year 2023 hosted by Binh Thuan province with the theme “Binh Thuan - Green Convergence”.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dang Chuong - Director of the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) expressed his gratitude to the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province and the coordination of the People's Committees of provinces, cities, cultural departments; especially, the units participating in the exhibition and cultural and artistic exchange. At the same time, he emphasized that "Vietnam's sea and island cultural heritage" is an important element, creating the cultural identity of Vietnam. Through the exhibition, viewers and people of Binh Thuan will better understand the cultural value of Vietnam's heritage. Thereby, enhancing patriotism, national pride, lighting up the aspiration to preserve the country's sea and islands and the determination to strive to build an economy from the sea and islands, following the direction of the Party Central Committee on developing the sea and island economy.
At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee awarded certificates of merit from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and certificates of merit from the Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee to units, groups and individuals who participated in this exhibition.
