Over the years, the quality and effectiveness of prisoner education at My Phuoc Prison has been continuously improved, and policies for prisoners have been seriously implemented in accordance with regulations. The coordination with local departments, agencies, organizations, individuals and relatives of prisoners in implementing prisoner education has gradually been effective and positive, creating a healthy, safe, orderly and disciplined educational environment.

At sub-camp No. 2, the prison opened an literacy class for 20 inmates; educated 314 inmates separately; the sub-camp has a library with more than 1,500 books; the sub-camp also regularly organizes vocational training. At the same time, the sub-camp also organizes cultural, artistic, and sports activities, and launches emulation movements, which have the effect of motivating and encouraging the inmates to strive, actively study, work, and reform well to enjoy the leniency policies of the Party and the State. Thereby, many inmates have had their prison sentences reduced, or have been released early on conditional terms. During the past time, the sub-camp has not received any complaints or denunciations.

The prison also launched a "Golden Heart Fund" to support and help prisoners in especially difficult circumstances, without family visits, who are sick and need regular medical treatment, helping them to reform with peace of mind and comply with the regulations of the detention facility.

Major General Nguyen Viet Hung highly appreciated the format and content of the conference. In addition, the Major General hoped that in the coming time, the prison would continue to promote positive aspects and overcome limitations and difficulties. Local agencies, departments and sectors would continue to coordinate well with the prison; relatives of prisoners would join hands with the prison in helping, reforming and educating prisoners. Prisoners need to actively study and reform well to soon reintegrate into the community.
