(ABO) On April 10, the Supervisory Delegation of the Tien Giang Provincial People's Council led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Toan, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, had a meeting to supervise the implementation of works and projects under the public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 in Tan Phu Dong district. Joining the Supervisory Delegation was Mr. Do Tan Hung, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee.

The Supervisory Team surveyed constructions and projects in Tan Phu Dong district.

The delegation supervised the following projects: Provincial Road 877B (from the Dong tree intersection to Ngang islet); investment in the construction of Tan Thoi - Binh Ninh ferry terminal; Tan Phu Secondary School; infrastructure of Phu Tan Industrial Cluster; upgrading and expanding Provincial Road 877B and District Road 84D; upgrading the dyke along Cua Trung River and culverts on the dyke; internal road projects in the district administrative center; renovation and upgrading of blocks A, B, C and installation of fire protection system, medical waste treatment system of the District Medical Center.

Accordingly, Tan Phu Dong district will implement public investment projects of groups A and B using public investment capital sources managed by the Provincial People's Committee, which have been approved by the Provincial People's Council for investment policy and adjusted investment policy, with a total approved investment of more than 192 billion VND.

Based on the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 of Tien Giang province, the People's Committee of Tan Phu Dong district proposed that the Provincial People's Council consider allocating capital to invest in urgent works and projects in the period 2026 - 2030.

Speaking at the conclusion of the supervision session, on behalf of the Supervisory Delegation, comrade Nguyen Duc Toan suggested that projects in the district should be strictly implemented from the investment preparation stage to implementation. In site clearance, it is necessary to carefully study the policies of the Party and the State to strictly implement all stages, and pay attention to resettlement arrangements for people in the project area.
