Around June 19th-20th, a convergence zone of winds will form at high altitudes, significantly impacting the weather in Ho Chi Minh City.
Based on the weather patterns mentioned above, the Southern Region Meteorological and Hydrological Station forecasts that from now until June 20th, rainfall in Ho Chi Minh City will increase in both area and intensity, ranging from scattered to widespread rain; some areas will experience moderate to heavy rain, and even very heavy rain and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, be wary of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind that could endanger people and cause property damage.
"Be prepared for tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind that may occur during thunderstorms. Be prepared for heavy rain that could cause severe flooding on some roads," the Southern Vietnam Regional Meteorological and Hydrological Station warned.
