The equatorial low pressure trough with its axis over the Southern region will gradually strengthen from around October 23-24, connecting with a cyclone that is likely to enter the northeastern part of the East Sea. Above, the subtropical high pressure with its axis over the North Central - Northern regions will operate stably, then weaken and retreat to the east around October 24-25.

Due to the influence of some of the above weather patterns, from now until the end of the month, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City will be mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and rain in many places with light to moderate rainfall; some days will have heavy rain in the early morning or late afternoon. Beware of heavy rain causing localized flooding in low-lying areas, tornadoes, and gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

Notably, heavy rain in the late afternoon may cause localized flooding on some roads in the city center from now until October 25.

From October 26-31, the sky will be cloudy, sunny during the day, with showers in many places and scattered thunderstorms in the evening, with moderate rain and locally heavy rain. The wind will be from the west to the southwest at medium intensity. Temperatures will increase slightly with the highest being 31-33 degrees Celsius; the lowest being 25-27 degrees Celsius.

In addition, in the coastal areas of Ho Chi Minh City, the weather has showers and thunderstorms in many places.
