Hai Duong City will fire 1,000 high-altitude fireworks on New Year's Eve this year.

Chairman of Hai Duong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Kien requested to ensure absolute safety during the organization of fireworks on New Year's Eve.

Speaking at the coordination conference on the morning of January 2, 2025, Chairman of Hai Duong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Kien requested the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, relevant departments, branches, and units to coordinate with Hai Duong City People's Committee to organize fireworks on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year 2025 to ensure absolute safety.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the City Military Command to coordinate in preparing conditions for receiving, transporting, preserving artillery and organizing surveys and installation of battlefields; ensuring security, handling situations to ensure absolute safety for people and technical equipment before, during and after the firing time.

Propose that the Provincial Police support and direct forces to ensure security and order, guide traffic and arrange fire trucks on duty at the fireworks display site. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism supports, directs and evaluates the art program, music and dance to serve delegates and people watching the fireworks display at Bach Dang Lake Park in combination with the art program celebrating the Party and celebrating spring...

According to the plan, Hai Duong City will organize a high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display for 15 minutes, from 11:15 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on December 29 of the lunar calendar (New Year's Eve) at Bach Dang Park. The city will fire 1,000 high-altitude fireworks and 120 low-altitude fireworks.

This is the second year Hai Duong City has organized a high-altitude fireworks display. However, compared to last year, this year's fireworks display promises to be more beautiful due to the larger number of high-altitude fireworks and larger fireworks. The funding for the fireworks display comes from social mobilization sources according to regulations.

Before the fireworks display, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Hai Duong City to organize a special art program to welcome the new spring.
