On the morning of October 1, General Secretary and President To Lam and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visited Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 in Ulan Bator.
Within the framework of the State visit to Mongolia, on the morning of October 1, General Secretary and President To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visited Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 in the capital Ulan Bator. Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 was established in 1949 and is one of the cradles of talent training for Mongolia. On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the Mongolian leaders decided to allow the school to be named after President Ho Chi Minh. In 2009, a statue of President Ho Chi Minh was built on the school campus; in 2017, the Ho Chi Minh Traditional Room was inaugurated. The goal and educational motto of the school is "All for each student". General Secretary and President To Lam visits Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 in Mongolia.
The school has established a Vietnamese Club, attracting many students to participate. All students of the school have a certain understanding of President Ho Chi Minh and know how to sing Vietnamese songs and dance Vietnamese dances. The school currently has about 6,000 students, 238 teachers and staff. One of the typical activities of the school is to honor the great career of President Ho Chi Minh. Students of the school learn about the culture and customs of the Vietnamese people. On the occasion of General Secretary and President To Lam's visit to the school, the school officially launched a drawing, painting, photo, poetry and writing contest with the theme "Learning about Vietnam" for students in the school. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, students of Ho Chi Minh President School No. 14, wearing traditional Mongolian and Vietnamese costumes, performed performances imbued with Mongolian cultural identity and songs about Uncle Ho to welcome General Secretary and President To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to visit the school.

Speaking to teachers and students of the school, General Secretary and President To Lam expressed his emotion when returning to visit the Ho Chi Minh President Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 during his State visit to Mongolia on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Mongolia and the 75th anniversary of the school's founding. General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh was the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people. He devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation of the Vietnamese people, contributing to the common struggle of peoples for peace, national independence, democracy and social progress in the world. The General Secretary and President emphasized: “He was the first Vietnamese leader to officially visit Mongolia in 1955, and together with Mongolian leaders laid a solid foundation for friendly relations, opening a period of development and solidarity between the people of Vietnam and Mongolia. I understand that Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 is one of the leading national schools, a typical example of Mongolia’s modern and advanced general education, and has trained many leaders and talents of Mongolia. In particular, the School is also one of the symbols of the good traditional friendship between Vietnam and Mongolia.”

On behalf of the Party and State of Vietnam, General Secretary and President To Lam warmly congratulated and commended the outstanding achievements of the teachers and students of the School in the cause of "cultivating people", contributing significantly to deepening the understanding between the people of the two countries as well as the "Comprehensive Partnership between Vietnam and Mongolia". He highly appreciated the teachers' continuous cultivation of ethics - knowledge, experience, improving professional qualifications; being proactive, flexible, creative in innovating teaching and learning thinking to inspire patriotism to students, the future buds of Mongolia. General Secretary and President To Lam wished: "President Ho Chi Minh always reserved endless love for students and children. For the students of the school, I hope you will continue to practice the five teachings of Uncle Ho: "Love the Fatherland, love your compatriots; study well, work well; unite well, have good discipline; maintain good hygiene; be modest, honest, and brave".I hope you will try harder in studying and practicing, to bring joy, pride, and happiness to your teachers, parents, and family, to be worthy of being the future owners of a beautiful country, to contribute to building Mongolia to become increasingly prosperous, the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Mongolia to develop well, and especially to be worthy of being students of the School named after President Ho Chi Minh". General Secretary and President To Lam wished the Board of Directors, teachers, and beloved students good health, much joy, and continued achievements in their noble career for the prosperous and happy future of the country and people of Mongolia. In order to commend the achievements of "good teaching and good learning" and to promptly encourage and motivate teachers and students of the school, General Secretary and President To Lam presented 50,000 USD in gifts from the Party and State of Vietnam to support the school in supplementing teaching equipment to prepare for the new school year.

On this occasion, the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi (Vietnam) presented gifts to Inter-level School No. 14 named after President Ho Chi Minh. Hanoi National University presented scholarships to Inter-level School No. 14 named after President Ho Chi Minh. Previously, General Secretary and President To Lam and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation laid flowers at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument and visited the Ho Chi Minh Traditional Room on the school campus. Here, General Secretary and President To Lam wrote in his guestbook expressing his joy at visiting Inter-level School No. 14 named after President Ho Chi Minh, one of the national key schools and the place that has trained many talented people for the beautiful country of Mongolia.
