On the evening of June 12, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) organized a program to honor typical enterprises for workers in 2024.

Thanh Hoa province currently has 345,900 workers, civil servants and employees; of which the production and business sector has 240,574 people. In recent years, closely following the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Resolution of the 19th Congress of Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union for the 2018-2023 term on "Improving welfare and benefits for union members and employees, period 2018-2023", the Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union has directed trade unions at all levels in the province to coordinate with employers in enterprises to do a good job of taking care of employees so that they can work with peace of mind, contributing to the development of the enterprise. In addition to strictly complying with the laws on labor, wages, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, many enterprises have negotiated with trade unions and signed collective labor agreements with many better policies for employees than those prescribed by law.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Mai Ba Nam presented a report on the implementation results of the program "Improving welfare and benefits for union members and workers in the period 2018 - 2024".
Trade unions at all levels have actively implemented cooperation agreements with enterprises so that union members and employees can access information and buy products, goods and services at preferential prices. The Provincial Federation of Labor has signed 232 cooperation agreements on the program "Welfare for union members and employees" with partners providing services and preferential products for union members and employees; as a result, 388,735 union members and employees benefited with an amount of VND 31,352 billion.

In addition, emulation movements among workers, civil servants and laborers have been widely deployed by trade unions at all levels, attracting a large number of workers and union members to participate. Thereby, there have been many technical innovation initiatives and useful solutions to help improve work efficiency, labor and production. As a result, 2,840 initiatives and topics (including 2,785 initiatives and topics of cadres and union members of the education sector) have been applied to work and production, making billions of dong in profit; 18 topics and initiatives have been awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 7 solutions and initiatives have been commended and rewarded by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the "Creative Solidarity" movement in the period of 2018-2020...

This is the first year that the Provincial Federation of Labor has organized a program to honor and commend outstanding enterprises for workers according to the policy of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. As a bridge, the Provincial Federation of Labor and trade unions at all levels have accompanied, supported and shared to help enterprises care for workers; promptly encouraged workers to stick together, make efforts to work and produce, and build sustainable enterprises.

Speaking at the program, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Lai The Nguyen acknowledged and warmly commended the contributions of the business community and the team of entrepreneurs and workers to the development of the province. In particular, the 52 enterprises honored at the program are typical examples, representing the dynamic and creative spirit of the team of businesses and entrepreneurs of Thanh Hoa in the new era. In the context of increasingly deep international integration, Thanh Hoa enterprises are facing many opportunities, fortunes and intertwined challenges. With the position of a large, dynamic and creative social force, the business community and the team of entrepreneurs and workers in the province need to continue to clearly identify their pioneering role in implementing the goals and tasks of building and developing the homeland and the country.
To do that, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Lai The Nguyen suggested that enterprises and businessmen continue to be more proactive and creative in grasping the market to build both short-term and long-term development strategies for enterprises; innovate technology, apply scientific and technical advances, expand production scale, improve product and goods quality, build and promote brands; strengthen links and cooperation with enterprises to gradually improve competitiveness and sustainable development; care for, protect and create long-term welfare for employees, build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises, which are also factors that help enterprises develop quickly and sustainably.
In response to the concern of enterprises, each employee needs to raise awareness of labor discipline, sense of responsibility, demonstrate determination, dynamism and creativity in production labor; actively study, practice, improve political capacity, qualifications and skills, meet requirements and tasks well and achieve high efficiency in production labor, affirm to be a pioneer force in the cause of innovation and integration, join hands to realize the aspiration of building a civilized and prosperous homeland of Thanh Hoa.

As a center for gathering union members and workers, trade unions at all levels in the province need to closely coordinate with business owners to take care of the material and spiritual life and health of workers; mobilize resources to join hands to support the construction of a "Union Shelter" for workers and laborers in difficult circumstances, effectively implement union welfare programs. Strengthen coordination and guide businesses to implement labor laws, occupational safety and hygiene; promote propaganda, replicate advanced models, typical businesses for workers, contribute to promoting the brand, enhancing the reputation of businesses, spreading the results of building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in businesses.
He also requested that the outstanding enterprises honored in the program continue to promote their achievements, boost production and business, take better care of workers' lives, and contribute to the development of the province.
