Consider merging district and commune levels of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and 10 provinces

This morning (November 14), the National Assembly Standing Committee opened its 39th session to consider many important contents, including giving opinions, explaining, accepting and revising bills and draft resolutions submitted to the 8th session.

Ho Chi Minh City 115 Emergency Center achieves gold certification for out-of-hospital emergency care

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health announced on the evening of November 13 that the Ho Chi Minh City 115 Emergency Center received the gold certificate of the EMS Angels award (a professional award in the field of quality management of out-of-hospital stroke emergency procedures).

The EMS Angels Award aims to help participating units improve the out-of-hospital stroke emergency process, from approaching stroke patients at the scene to transporting patients to the most optimal treatment facility.

In Vietnam, there are two participating units: Da Nang 115 Emergency Center and Ho Chi Minh City 115 Emergency Center. Ho Chi Minh City 115 Emergency Center began implementing the plan to manage out-of-hospital stroke emergency cases in July 2023 and considered for awards from July 2024. After three months, Ho Chi Minh City 115 Emergency Center achieved the gold level award.

With the orientation of developing the out-of-hospital emergency system in a professional manner, striving to achieve certification according to common world standards, the Ho Chi Minh City 115 Emergency Center will continue to manage out-of-hospital stroke emergency cases and other diseases such as cardiac arrest, trauma... in the coming years.
