Units and localities are speeding up the process of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

At the meeting of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Bac Kan province (3rd time), Comrade Hoang Duy Chinh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee requested the departments, branches, socio-political organizations of the province, and members of the Steering Committee to closely coordinate with the Standing Agency to increase visits and have plans to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the assigned localities; strive for each unit to support the implementation of at least 3 houses, each individual 1 house; mobilize union members and members to propagate and help with working days, materials, funds, etc. for households that are eligible for support to speed up the completion progress, creating a spirit of solidarity and mutual love in the community. The Standing Agency of the Steering Committee, departments, branches and sectors continue to promote their roles and responsibilities, and strengthen coordination with localities to promptly handle and resolve difficulties and problems in the implementation process.
With high political determination, with the motto "No one is left behind", Party committees at all levels, authorities, Fatherland Front, and organizations in the province have been focusing on leading and directing units and localities to implement practical and effective actions. The work of mobilizing and supporting the construction of houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province has been resolutely implemented by all levels, sectors, Fatherland Front, organizations, and localities, supported by all classes of people, the business community, philanthropists, and neighboring provinces, bringing about practical results.
In Ngan Son district, by 2025, the district strives to eliminate 559 temporary and dilapidated houses, including 476 new houses and 83 repaired houses. Currently, construction has started on 42 households, of which 11 have been completed. Ms. Hoang Thi Bay's household in the residential area, Van Tung town is a poor, elderly household, often sick and lives alone in a dilapidated temporary house. Since the beginning of this year, the town has had a plan to eliminate the temporary and dilapidated house for her family. Along with the state's support fund of 60 million VND, through propaganda and mobilization, households in the residential area have contributed 12 million VND and supported 142 working days to help her family build a house. Up to now, the house has been basically completed; soon, she will be able to move to a new, spacious house.
In Na Ri district, this year, there are a total of 694 houses subject to the temporary and dilapidated house removal program, including 538 new houses and 156 repaired houses; by early March, 9 new houses had been completed and 72 houses were under construction. In the central area of the district, Yen Lac town registered 23 houses under the temporary and dilapidated house removal program; since its implementation, 5 houses have started construction and are in the process of completion. Comrade Nong Thi Tuyen, Secretary of the Yen Lac town Party Committee, said that in implementing the temporary and dilapidated house removal program, the town has mobilized the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the town's branches, unions, and the front work committees of residential areas to support households in difficult circumstances in terms of human resources, support in terms of working days, and strive to complete the plan as soon as possible, helping people to live in solid houses before the rainy and stormy season.
Forces join hands to support people to build houses in Na Ri district
Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Kan province Do Thi Minh Hoa said that, implementing the policy of assigning support targets for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses to units and individuals, in the near future, the provincial departments, branches, socio-political organizations, and members of the Steering Committee will participate in the process of propaganda and mobilization to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses associated with each specific address, thereby checking, supervising, and closely following the implementation process to create efficiency and have specific results. Not only that, the implementation of support is also personalized from cadres, party members, and party cell secretaries at the grassroots level. The support can call for additional funds, materials, and working days to support households with more resources to eliminate temporary houses, or propaganda, mobilization, inspection, and support to speed up the implementation process.
In all districts and cities, a high level of focus is currently being placed on implementing the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses under the direction of the Central Government and the province. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Duy Chinh requested the Secretaries of the District and City Party Committees to strengthen their leadership, direction and urging the standing agencies of the District Steering Committees to effectively and responsibly carry out assigned tasks. Develop plans and assign specific tasks to each agency, unit, cadre and civil servant in charge of the area to directly support and monitor the implementation process of each household. Focus on mobilizing the highest human resources and resources and prioritizing support for households that register early, continue to propagate and mobilize households that are eligible for support to change their thinking and working methods, and be determined to renovate or repair their houses to complete on schedule./.
