[Photo] Flower cars and flower boats compete to show off their colors, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Da Nang Liberation Day

The contest - flower car parade and flower boat attracted 11 flower cars, including forces representing the following groups: Departments, branches, sectors; Front and socio-political organizations; Enterprises; 8 districts and 20 flower boats of tourism businesses on the Han River.

The elaborately decorated floats and boats, representing the traditional beauty, culture, history and innovation of the city, promise to bring an impressive performance, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of the people and tourists; at the same time, it is an opportunity to promote the image of Da Nang city to the domestic public and international friends.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that in the meaningful last days of March, today's Flower Car and Boat Parade is not only a unique cultural activity but also has a profound meaning in honoring historical traditions, reflecting the city's development process, and at the same time introducing to domestic and international friends a dynamic, integrated Da Nang that still preserves its traditional cultural identity.
