On the afternoon of January 14, confirming with VietNamNet reporter, the leader of the Criminal Police Department (CSHS) of Hai Phong City Police said that the 4-year-old child suspected of being kidnapped was found at 3:15 p.m. the same day in the area of ​​Luong Khanh Thien Street, Hai Phong City.

Regarding the incident, immediately after receiving information from Thuy Nguyen City Police and grasping the subject's movement direction, the Board of Directors of Hai Phong City Police directed the Criminal Police Department and Le Chan District Police to coordinate synchronously to investigate and search.

Providing more information about the incident, the leader of the Criminal Police Department stated: The subject has an abnormal mentality, showing signs of depression. This woman was identified as Dong Thi Ha Thu (born 2007, residing in Thuy Nguyen City, Hai Phong City). Currently, the police have detained this woman and are investigating the motive for the incident.

On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Van Nang, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thuy Nguyen City, said: "The police are continuing to investigate the case and the child is still healthy and safe. Currently, the family has been able to reach the child, and the child's psychology is basically stable."

Previously, as VietNamNet reported, on the afternoon of January 13, a woman wearing a black mask entered Thien Huong Kindergarten (Hai Phong) to take a 4-year-old girl away.

Security cameras show a woman dressed in black, wearing glasses and a black mask, arriving at the kindergarten at around 4pm with the child in tow. She holds the child’s hand as she walks and the child does not protest.

By the morning of January 14, Thuy Nguyen City Police identified the woman who entered the kindergarten on suspicion of kidnapping a child.

The incident is being further investigated by the authorities.
